Hidden gem. This place exceeded our expectations in every way. The room was spacious and clean. Staff were very friendly and attentive. View of the lake was spectacular. We will definitely come back often.

The bungalows are great little retreats. We enjoyed the property even if there was not much to do. The complimentary plate of fruit in the afternoon was really nice. The staff were very friendly. Mattresses were also on the softer side and comfortable.

The food was terrible. And with nothing in the immediate area to get food you are reliant on what they can make for you. The first night all our food was cold and just tasted bad. We didn’t have to pay for it, so that’s good, but the second night we opted to make some pot noodles because we didn’t have the impression the kitchen would do better. Breakfast was very minimal, you can choose between noodle soup or an egg sandwich. For a place this expensive that just doesn’t do it for us. The broth was also bland. When leaving we wanted to pay. Card was not excepted, they only took cash. Again for a place with these rates, card payments should be accepted. We had to drive with a staff member to an ATM. For all the trouble we did get a discount, just to be fair they did try their best with the terrible options they had.

Everything - the atmosphere, the kayaking and fishing, the bungalow and the staff.

Nothing - except leaving the retreat.

This place was absolutely wonderful! Peaceful, serene, quiet…the room was clean and very cozy…the food was amazing and the portions were very generous. The crew here is very attentive and so helpful! They even helped us arrange a ride to our next destination which we really appreciated! We really enjoyed watching the sunset from the cute outside bar, relaxing on the bean bags and soaking in our private patio tub! Highly recommend staying here!
