2 Bedroom, free parking & Netflix near hospitals

The shower worked well and the use of a tumble dryer was extremely handy. Cereals, milk, tea, coffee and croissants provided.

We felt that the property was perhaps being slightly mis-sold. If you need somewhere to bed down because you need to be near the hospital, this is perfect. It isn't a holiday destination. It's in an uninviting estate (see picture - flat is the top right of building) and you park your car at the side of the road a bit further up. It's 3 floors up with no lift - which isn't great when there are mobility challenges. The decor/furnishing is done at the absolute cost saving minimum and there are very loud creaky floors. The microwave didnt seem safe with a big burn mark in it (we let the owners know but it shouldve been spotted when being cleaned). We also (admitedly stupidly on our part) didn't see the note about providing £150 damage deposit which could take up to a week to get back. Functional but not pleasant for an unwinding holiday.

Comfortable beds. good shower/ bath and kitchen facilities

2nd floor apartment difficult to climb stairs. Sofa in the lounge was dirty. not cleaned with dust and possibly dandruff.

All anyone needs was there. Kitchen well equipped, good bed and bathroom facilities. Surprisingly little traffic noise, despite being beside a main road. Easy access to supermarkets.

No big deal, but the area is a little off-putting until one gets used to it. A bit of noise, but quiet from late evening.

Snacks, breakfast, tea & coffee and milk were left for us in the property.

We arrived in the evening and there was no lighting in the communal stairwell, meaning we had to climb 3 floors with bags and our baby in the dark before opening the lock box and unlocking the door also in the dark. We felt rather unsafe at the property and its surroundings and would have found alternative accommodation if we were staying more than 1 night. The host expected to strip the beds and empty the bins ourselves, which seemed unreasonable. We also had to pay a £150 security deposit outside of booking.com's systems.

Nice and clean

The property has great facilities such as a washing machine, dryer,microwave, Netflix and other streaming services. I liked it so much I extended my stay for a further 3 nights.

The garden at the front of the property could put people off but it didn’t bother me as the apartment is so good.
