Gorgeous Log Cabin - Wineries, Dan River, Hiking

The area was beautiful, and the flowers smelt so lovely. Cabin was great super adorable. Had everything we need plus more. Place was clean too.

The beds where hard and our sheets where wet when we climbed in the bed from being washed I guess but other then that was a great stay.

Jake was an amazing host and if there was anything we needed he was just an email away. The cabin was clean and so beautifully decorated. Sitting in front of the warm fireplace in the rocking chair was my favorite way to unwind while natural light poured in through the many windows. It had everything we needed to cook. I brought my own spices, but the cabin was stocked with many spices you'd use on a daily basis. Don't feel like cooking? There are two wonderful cafes to try out only about 5 minutes away! This really is an amazing place to relax, you can really tell the thought put into decorating this cabin as you go room to room and notice little things you hadn't the first go around. With two bedrooms and two futons, this cabin would be perfect for those bringing their kids. Tons of board games and a dart board to play and enjoy if trying to disconnect from your phone. There is a spacious deck in the back where you can have your morning coffee overlooking the forest. Nice walking trail by the cabin if you want to take in the fresh air a little more actively. Overall I am extremely pleased with our stay and I feel so refreshed and I hope to make this an annual vacation spot!

Loved loved loved our stay in the cabin. It definitely has everything you could need for a comfortable stay. We were in the area visiting family and were able to host a lovely holiday dinner. Had small problem with fireplace and host was instantly reachable and problem easily resolved. Would highly recommend staying in Cabin 15 and we will definitely be back 👍👍👍

Well maintained. Nicely decorated. Owner was excellent. We asked if there was a gate on the porch to keep our dog from taking herself for a walk and he added a gate before we got there.

You do have to walk down some steps to get to the cabin but they were quite manageable even for senior citizens.

The locale is a perfect getaway spot. The Meadows of Dan is a great little place with general stores, restaurants, and Nancy's Candy Co. The scenery is beautiful and it's a very peaceful location.
