Millfield House - Cosy 2 bed house in Motherwell

House was great, area was within walking distance of most restaurants, train station and bars plus there was a very nice cat who lived on the street and loved to be pet

It met our budget and location requirements for a rowing event in Strathclyde Country Park (and family of 5 travelling). Able to self cater. Able be dry in dreadful weather. Shower was good. Bedding and towels were clean and good quality.

It felt like student digs. A bit tired and a bit shabby. Parking was a short walk away on another street (but was acceptable).

Nothing

Everything. It was very dirty , there was no parking at all, neighbours were very uncomfortable with us being there. We had no hot water the entire stay. The dishes were obviously cleaned with a damp and dirty cloth and they were very smelly. Our stay was a week in length and we weren’t supplied with enough of anything for the week, towels, bin bags, wash cloths, dish scrubber.l and most importantly no hot water to shower or wash dishes.
