CHDie Lage etwas ausserhalb war für uns kein Problem, dies lässt sich mit dem Hotelshuttel gut lösen. Das Frühstück war gut und reichhaltig, für jeden was dabei, ausser guten Kaffee.
Die Zimmer sind abgewohnt, die Fenster undicht. Bei den Anfang Woche herrschenden Sturm- und Regentagen (11+12.05.26) sehr zugig. Die Fenster zum Gang sind nicht (schall-) dicht. Entweder waren schon frühmorgens oder Abends Kinder sehr laut oder aber es war eine Tagung und man hatte im Bett das Gefühl, mittendrin zu sein. Grundsätzlich war es von 06.00 - 01.00 laut bis sehr laut. Allein schon darum würden wir hier kein zweites Mal buchen. Ein weiteres Ärgerniss war, dass man beim Frühstück für einen Espresso extra zahlen musste. Am schlimmsten aber ist die Travel-Agentur, die je nach sichtweise zum Hotel gehört (ShuttelBus) oder eben nicht (Tagestouren). Für unseren letzten Urlaubstag haben wir zu viert eine private Tagestour gebucht. Dafür haben wir satte 12'000 Rand bezahlt. Es lief schief was nur schief laufen kann. Angefangen bei fehlenden Tickets bei der Ankunft auf dem Tafelberg, über komplette Änderung des Tagesprogramms, falsche Informationen im Prospekt und mündlich kommuniziert mit dem Menschen beim TravelDesk. Wir hatten einen Tag voller Ärger, der alles andere als entspannt war! Einen Teil der uns zusätzlich entstandenen Kosten wurde schliesslich zurückerstattet. Nicht etwa auf unsere Karte sondern in Bar obwohl bekannt war, dass wir am gleichen Abend noch ausreisen. Also hatten wir den zusätzlichen Ärger mit Umtausch in Europa... Touren würden wir hier auch keine mehr buchen

GHEverything in my room was ordinary. Some rooms are beautiful as they are being renovated.
Nothing exceptional at the hotel. The toilettes just opposite the reception is not good at all. On the day of arrival, there was a very bad smell from the toilettes as one stands at the reception. There is renovation works on-going but none of such information was communicated to me. The reception area is not cosy and welcoming.

NLWe weten van vele boekingen voor 2018 dat de locatie mooi is.
Dat het appartement onder water stond. Er was geen alternatief behalve een klein hotelkamertje met uitzicht op de parkeerplaats. Zonder alle faciliteiten vh appartement en zonder zeezicht. Het personeel was niet geïnteresseerd en was liever bezig met de conferentie’s waar iedere dag het hotel vol mee zat!!
