Great location. Clean and tidy. Everything was there that we needed to make our stay enjoyable. Host kept in contact if we needed anything.

Lawns were long and no clothes line to hang washing on. Our weather was perfect to use outside for drying.

Excellent location. Everything we could need. Brilliant contact from the owner. Well equipped. Comfy, clean beds.

It was heated by fan heaters rather than central heating but it was manageable.

I liked that we had use of the whole property. The instructions on checking in where super clear and the host pleasant

The radiators were broken, which we were advised of en route to the house. We were left portable heaters which took the edge off the cold but only the edge. The bedding wasn't as clean or new as it could've been, the double bed having spots of old blood on it. The beds were not the comfiest so along with being cold nobody slept particularly well. BUT it was the cheapest rent nearest to where we need to be. With a few tiny tweaks this rental could be a diamond find.

Property was clean on arrival. Close if driving to city centre however not close if you don’t drive.

No heating or hot water. Eventually got hot water but still no heating and it was -1 inside the house. We had to sleep with coats on. Quilts were very thin. Messaged owner of property who never sorted the issue. Meant we had to leave a day early with no refund.

Very standard house, but very affordable. Had everything you would need and expect. Host was very quick to accommodate requests and questions that I had.

The bed wasn’t the most comfortable but it was fine.

The house was okay, looked good on the inside. The shower does have a bit of a kick to it which is nice.

The garden is a dump,weeds everywhere and a shed with empty beers tossed in there. I cleaned most of them up. There weren't any duvet covers and two of the beds needed fixing. Most of the kitchen utensils needed cleaning again. Some of the towels weren't clean. Street parking can be tough to find a nearby spot.

The owner was very helpful and communicative, and sent brief but comprehensive instructions. The interior of the property was fine and all of the appliances worked. We were able to catch frequent buses into the city centre from the stop just up the road.

The setting was not welcoming and didn't feel very safe. There was rubbish on the front lawn and the nearby car park. Neighbouring properties were in a poor state of repair and there was a strong smell of cannabis emanating from one neighbouring house. The rear yard was covered in weeds. Also, most of the plates, dishes, pans, utensils and cutlery had to be washed before use as they were dirty, with food or grease visible on many of them.
