Le Charmé Suites - Subic

We were charged extra for each person in the room, even though we booked a room for four. Plus we had to pay for the extra two at breakfast. Breakfast was fair.

Location was good to the main road and places we wanted to visit, the staff were helpful and friendly

The hotel is very run down and in need of many repairs, at a guess I would say its now Chinese owned as the TV remote was all in Chinese, difficult to navigate and basically did not work. The breakfast was a shambles and the pool area is in need of a complete re fit (tiles cracked every where or missing completely, half finished toilets/changing area, no tap, no hand dryer working). The last time I visited Subic was about 6 years ago and since then the whole area seems to have suffered greatly, the Zoobic safari is so run down and looks like its almost derelict!! I am not sure many people now visit this are for a vacation.

The Hotel is extremely clean and well taken care of. The staff are friendly and very accommodating to requests. The buffet breakfast is good and plenty of food to choose from. The location is in the middle of shopping. Starbucks within 2 min walking from the front door.

The beds are a little hard, other than that no complaints.
