"A great, well-equipped property for a three-generational family holiday"

8.0

House was spacious, well-equipped and quiet. Close to Rye and Hastings, with gardens and castles within easy reach, and a couple of good and friendly pubs nearby.

My duvet was a bit warm for the time of year, and a couple of people had hoped for shower gel dispensers - very small quibbles in the scheme of things.

"Exceptional"

10.0

The accommodation was clean , very spacious and comfortable and had everything we needed. Lots of outside spaces to sit and relax in the garden. Its a lovely quiet area with plenty of places and routes to walk. Easy reach of Hastings, Rye and Battle. Local farmshop has a good variety of products at a reasonable cost. Good goodie pubs close and several cafes.

Nothing with the accommodation . Beach is very stony and with lots of rocks. Wasn't a problem for us but heard several children asking where was the sand.

"We very much enjoyed the property and the location."

8.0

The facilities were generally suitable for a disabled person. It was easy to move around the property in a wheelchair.

Holiday properties suitable for disabled persons are extremely rare. This property was very good, but could have been even better if: a) one of the four bathrooms was converted into a wet-room, and b) front door access was step-free (e.g. availability of a portable ramp). Then the property could be advertised as highly disabled-friendly!

"Awesome!"

10.0

The stunning home is equipped with every convenience. Beautiful TVs, excellent Wi-Fi, Sonos speakers, Apple TV, and more. The kitchen features no fewer than three ovens, a large induction cooktop, a spacious fridge and freezer. The living room has a wonderfully comfortable couch to sink into and relax. The backyard is enormous, with neatly mowed grass, a large table with chairs, and a few delightful lounge chairs. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves during the week we stayed there. The support from Tim and Jo was excellent—these friendly people do everything they can to make your stay a success. There was nothing to complain about regarding the house (!!) —at most, a small suggestion for guests coming from the EU: The British mainly drink tea and instant coffee, so there is no Senseo, Nespresso, or similar coffee machine in the house. If you're not a fan of instant coffee, consider bringing a filter holder, some filters, and regular coffee. Tnx Tim and Jo, Maybe we'll come back here again someday!

"Perfect home for visiting Rye and Hastings"

10.0

Everything we needed, and more for our short stay. Excellent modern, spacious warm house (as 2 degrees outside) very well equipped, sky tv and high quality furnishings. Loads of crockery and glasses and mugs and a dishwasher which meant no washing up! Great location close to beach for a bracing stroll and some lovely pubs (Royal Oak and Two Sawyers) a short drive away. Lovely linens on comfy beds. Great communication from Tim the host with very helpful house book. We’d love to return one day in the summer.

Nothing about the property, Too cold to use any of the outdoor furniture but it had everything you would need. Also lots of local attractions were closed until Feb or even April.
