Large apartment - Luxurious neighborhood - 8 pax

What you see, is not what you get. None of the photos represent the real world. All decoration is removed or gone. The smell in the very small bathroom is horrible. Multiple things are broken, like curtains, lights and switches. There are holes in the wall that are filled with plastic bags.

Location is very good, convenient to metro, tram, close to Vigeland Park. Easy access to the mountain as well (hikes in the summer, sledding in the winter, or nordic skiing). Very nice and charming neighborhood with beautiful old buildings. Apartment is located is one of only 2 modern buildings on the street. Safe feeling in the neighborhood. Beds were comfortable. Good to have clothes rack in each bedroom. Bedrooms look out on a garden. Magical with the snow and lit balconies. Had it worked properly, system to retrieve apartment key is good. But lost over 30 minutes trying to get hold of the manager to retrieve the key. Make sure you have enough battery on your phone. Guy at the store was very understanding and let us wait in the store (very cold day). Apartment was fine for 6 people.

The pictures in the "ad" are misleading. During our visit: no nice sheets (instead cheap and crumpled ones, and no this is not "typical Norwegian" as the manager responded), all the paintings are gone, cheap little lamps instead of the nice ones in the pictures. Things that are broken have not been fixed nor replaced: blinds, top of bathroom bin, bulbs, lamp in living room. Smelly bathroom (throughout the apartment). Not sure hand towel was clean. Lack of maintenance and lack of feeling of cleanliness. Bring a bathmat if you want one as well as kitchen towel, none provided. We go to Olso on a regular basis, apartment was great option for group of friends as close to our Norwegian friends' home. Too bad for the lack of maintenance, we will not go back.

Was a great stay for a big group! One bathroom may not be for all groups but ours was fine with it and it was walking distance from the township.

There is only one restroom for getting ready and it was not good to use since most of the things are broken or old.

The home was impeccable and absolutely beautiful. The location was perfect for us to relax. We really wish we could have stayed longer!

- One of the cheaper apartments in Oslo that we saw on BOOKING, but street parking costs ~€6/hr (free parking fr 8 pm to 9 am), so potential renters with cars might want to factor this into the cost of the apartment. - Large apartment and nice location. - Tech-savvy host smartly used YouTube video, photos, and Google maps to take the guesswork out of the check-in process. - Toiletries provided. (But note that you'll have to bring your own kitchen consumables + laundry detergent.)

- Code to retrieve key did not work - had to make a call to sort it out. - Apartment looked much newer & nicer in the photos and some parts needed a refresh/repair for a 10* stay: E.g., Bathroom facilities were quite old. Kitchen sink and shower drain were semi-clogged and did not drain well. Stains on kitchen sink and dining chairs' fabric. 1 of the bedrooms had slotted window blinds that didn't twist shut well, letting in lots of light. Some light bulbs needed replacing. Plenty of other kitchen utensils, but only 3 spoons.
