AC did not work. We had to sleep outside on the patio.

The location could not be better. The apartment is huge and beautifully furnished and the outside terrace is fantastic with views over Sorrento to the bay and Mt Vesuvius. It is in a secure building and is beautifully quiet. We absolutely loved our time here.But...

I have marked it down for some relatively minor inconveniences: no washing m/c, pegs but no washing line/rack, oven didn't work, cooktop didn't work (gas not on?) (we ate out), some tea bags but no coffee (or any biscuits, water etc that cheaper places provide). no dishwasher tabs, quirky a/c with 6 (six) controllers, no instructions for tv (or anything else), only 1 set of keys, possibility to lock yourself out on the terrace. The irrigation system on the terrace leaks and coming inside the marble floor is deadly with wet feet. I feel that there was a lack of effort by the host.

The location is amazing and the apartment is immaculate. It really is a gem in the heart of Sorrento. It's close to restaurants and all activities. The house is also fully equipped with everything and more you'll need to have a good stay. The view and the terrace are the crowning diamonds of this place. I would definitely come back.

The only thing we had an issue was that the hot tub/pool did not warm up. It bubbles and all, but we could not get it working to warm up. The team did come assist us, very kindly, but the issue persisted. However, the weather was warm so we did not really need the heat, other than for a night-time dip.

Rooftop terrace was roomy, secluded and quiet. Street noise barely made it up!
