Historic 2 KING BED 1 Bath Near Downtown Spokane

The decor fit my esthetic, which helped with the reason for the trip. The rooms were clean and comfortable! Beautifully restored building

It's not that I didn't like the one base board heater, but we had trouble with turning it completely off. The host was contacted in regards to it.

easy to get to. somewhat near stuff. a short uber to and fro. the few hours in the room.

room smelled like cigarettes. the neighbors ALL smoke the weed. the air conditioner wasn't working properly. you pay for what you get

We had a door code that didn't work but it was easy to contact our host who quickly addressed the issue. The unit was comfortable and well-stocked. Love the playground/park that's close by.

Outside furniture was very dusty. There is construction happening next door, so that probably caused it.

Jerry is very fast in responding to text or calls. The apartment was well equipped, especially the kitchen. I ended up extending by booking an adjoining day, and the cleaning for it was not needed and the fee was graciously refunded. Parking on the street was always available, but the house had spaces in the back too. Close to centennial trail - great for a morning walk along the river - see picture - and a short drive to tubing. Neighborhood is transitioning to gentrified, but we felt safe on walks and it was quiet during our stay - preferred this to staying downtown, which isn't far anyways.

We had requested early check in since we had an early dinner party. The room was cleaned early, but the notification (and configuring the locks) must have slipped through the cracks. Good news was nearby Uprise Brewery was a nice place to wait. When I called from the front door. Jerry responded quickly, and we did get in a few minutes early. The bedroom AC was fitted in the window, and there was an open gap between the sliding windows - we stuffed this with newsprint to help the cooling the bedroom. (The kitchen AC was strong and could cool the whole apartment.)
