The Well Hotel & Taproom

This is a renovated old building. The only issue is the sound between rooms is not great. Unfortunately, there was a crying child next to me late in the night. Otherwise, this place is cool and the staff was great.

Bed was a little firm, nice taproom in lobby. Very pleasant host (Lyndsey?) room was smaller than we thought but clean and well appointed

Room seemed like it was still being completed. No dresser, No Desk. No luggage stand. The shower had no shelfs for soap, etc. Everything was sitting on the floor. Caverness's room, with 12 foot or taller ceilings, but nothing on the walls reminded me of a prison cell. Echo chamber quality. Check in is anything BUT flexible. You can only check in at 4pm to 10pm! Why not let guests get in at 2 or later than 10? This is unacceptable for a hotel. It's Just an unfinished hotel offering prices above average in the area. Won't come back.

Lovely clean hotel, right in the centre of town, very helpful and pleasant staff member. Soo much nicer than staying in hotel chains. And a free drink for guests in the bar downstairs!

Very noisy front room, however earplugs provided. Shower was in the room, no privacy! No lift, loads of steep steps up to rooms, not ideal with lots of heavy suitcases but staff member offered to assist!

We were so surprised. We drove past, were a little unsettled at the facade, went in and still unsure. There is some remodelling going on. During check in, we were put at ease. She was so helpful, engaging & friendly. Then she said, we need to go outside and go through the red door! WHAT? Really? As we were walking up, she told us the place was built in 1883,added a little history and that we had her favorite room and why, then showed us in. SO SURPRISED. What character!!!! the TALL ceilings, the fun little refrigerator, the MCM fixtures. We loved the red ceiling and ceiling fan. The only odd thing was if you turned off the light in the sink area, it turned off the fan. The best thing wasthe bed. That was the most comfortable bed we've slept on in many hotel visits. Pure comfort and the best sleep. Thank you so much. When we come through again, we will definietly stay here.

This place was so cool and so cute!!!!!

An eclectic hotel. Rooms are small, but they were creative in providing amenities, like a movable clothes rack in place of a closet, and an in-wall AC/heater that was not very powerful. However, the room did have a refrigerator, a separate room for the toilet, and a large screen TV. Trinidad is not a large city, but most of the attractions are walkable from the hotel, so that is a huge plus. We would definitely stay again when in the area.
