"Boutique quirky but no en suite"

Friendly staff and very quirky cool place

There are NO TOILETS in your room - please be aware of this. You have a designated private toilet but it is in the end of a public corridor. The photos on site make it look like you have en suite facilities but you don’t .

Fabulous stay made for a fabulous weekend! A gorgeous bath and the best breakfast granola I have ever tasted. Such a gorgeous stay with friendly and attentive staff. Our only regret is that we couldn't book in for dinner as we were too late!

Very quirky and comforting lots of lovely touches like the little snug where there is a fridge with drinks and tea and coffee facilities. There are also snacks and sweets.

The shared bathroom was a surprise but I probably didn’t read properly and this wasn’t a problem as it’s only with one other room and the bathroom was deluxe

"If you like old and quirky this is for you."

Continental breakfast was good. Warm croissants, great coffee , cheese, meats bread etc. Hotel was 18th century grade 2 listed. A large amount of work has gone in retaining its original decor and presentation. The main bar was beautiful with many old feature. Wine was good. Outside space was good, plenty of sun in the front Hotel location perfect for the old town. Parking nearby.

WE had the smallest room left (the snug) , but it was reflected in the price, we shared a bathroom with one other room
