The location and private property were beautiful. The lodge itself is absolutely stunning inside and out. The bathroom is amazing and I’ve never slept in such a comfortable bed in my entire life, and mine is pretty comfortable so that’s saying something!

The fridge door had been left ajar on arrival and was warm which was pretty inconvenient as we were planning on some very chilled rose that night which we couldn’t have as it took hours to cool down. And there is absolutely no storage for any of our clothes and intimates so we had to live out of our cases for our stay, which is pretty unusual as storage is pretty standard in any accommodation, especially for the price point here.

So unique and spacious. Great for a couples getaway.

Bath tub wasn’t cleaned for arrival

The lodge was amazing from the inside, very spacious, really good place to stay. The bathrooms amazing too.

The bathroom facilities could be alot better, took me 20 mins to work out how the hot n cold tap even works which needs fixed as it does not work its just random as you have to move it around and hope for it to get warm somehow.. the water was either too hot or just lukewarm, you couldn't adjust the water temperature like everywhere else ive stayed which really needs fixed up... The bath tub is really good but again the little shower attached to the bath wasn't working at all. With the price they're charging for the lodge, each and every single thing should be in full working order... disappointed in shower facilities but other than that everything else was perfect. Fix the shower facilities and this place is an 11/10.

That I was given the keys to a spectacular lodge on arrival and when we entered it was dirty from previous guests, towels on the floor bed unmade food trays lying around. I was horrified and when we went to complain we were given the lodge that was ready for the brides on their wedding day and made me feel so awkward

The windows at the front of the property closest to the ceiling didn’t have curtains or blinds. Unsure if we just missed on how to cover but was woken up early because of the light. Only thing, everything else was great!

Beautiful location, private, quiet and plenty of space. Rustic and charming with log walls and beams. large comfortable bed, calm mood lighting. Large tub was delightful, robes and a standing fan saved us. Responsive hosts. Bottled water and chocolates nice touch.

Some hedges blocked a better view from our lodge. Shower water was only lukewarm, tub shower diverter didn’t work. it was warm but cooled with windows open and a fan. Sofas weren’t comfortable. No wifi. Soaps could’ve been more upscale. Needed more lighting options like large lights- felt too dim to see our stuff. outdoor seating would be nice as well.
