Marjan Hill Apartment - close to center & garage

Quiet localization localization close to the Old Town and Marjan Park view point, helpful host. Place in a garage is a great advantage, especially when it’s windy ;)

The apartment was clean and comfortable, and the perfect base for a short holiday in Split. It's positioned a little up a hill so you will be walking uphill every evening, but it's only a short 10 minute walk into Split city centre and there are a couple of small grocery stores and a bakery nearby. The apartment has two bedrooms, one double and one twin (that can also function as a double). The beds were comfortable enough and the bedrooms were bright and welcoming with plenty of storage space. The bathroom is pretty small, but it was clean and the shower worked well with decent water pressure and temperature. There is a small kitchenette with a fridge and a sink, which was handy for having breakfast before heading out. There is a dining table and a small dining area just beside the kitchen, but that is all the living/shared space available and it is also directly by the front door and bathroom door. As we were out and about most of the day, we only needed something basic so this wasn't a problem, but if you planned to spend evenings in you may find it a little cramped. We also had access to a small balcony across the hallway which was really useful for drying towels and swimwear. Overall the apartment was clean and welcoming and a pleasant place to stay. The host, Hajdi, was absolutely lovely and really friendly and helpful. She was there to welcome us to the apartment and show us around. She also provided a map of Split and pointed out local amenities like grocery stores. We had no problems during our stay.

The apartment was spacious & very clean. Easy access to the old town. Our host was there to welcome us & provide an overview of her facility. She even has some cold water ready!

We liked everything!

Very responsive and kind host, checked us in early and gave great tips on what to see. The flat is well equipped, close to the city centre and beaches. It was clean and well organised. The balcony and closed garage were great features as well. Two big bedrooms, which was amazing to have as an adult friend group, because in some other flats we stayed in, the second bedroom tended to be child-size. Hard mattresses on the beds, good for the back.

For us there were no issues, but in general, the bathroom is on the small side. If you are a tall person, it might be tricky.

The location is perfect - a very easy and picturesque walk to the old town, whilst in a lovely quiet neighbourhood. The apartment was spotless and the host was so nice and helpful. The bedrooms are a good size and whilst the kitchen was small it was well equipped and easy to make breakfasts. The balcony is not directly attached to the apartment but was still a nice spot for an evening drink.
