Birch Banc Retreats - Glyn-Haul, New Enc Decking

Fabulous peaceful location

There was a bath not hot tub at property

We have had the most wonderful stay at Birch Banc Glyn Haul … the location is faultless … no light pollution and only bleating lambs to listen to. The cabin itself has everything you could want - plenty of room, comfortable beds, a well equipped kitchen and lovely bathroom … the outdoor bath is great but we shall leave that to sample next time when it’s a little warmer outside. Super helpful to arrive to tea coffee milk chocolates and cake after a long journey .. and you are not too far from the village to pick up other bits you may need. The pre arrival information is also comprehensive and helpful to plan your journey for a seamless arrival. And the many lovely touches - books by and about Wordsworth, a games compendium and lots of information on local attractions. We were attending a wedding just down the road at Plas Dinam and despite the ‘glamping’ label felt we were in a luxurious hideaway Also lovely to meet Sharon, the owner, who popped by to say hello when we arrived - can’t wait to return to visit all the wonderful surrounding beauty spots … truly heaven on earth - nefoedd ar y ddaear

Nothing to fault ...

Modern, clean, equipped superbly, comfortable, easy to find. The hosts have thought of everything.

The marble bath is stunning, just a little awkward to sit/lie in but just my opinion.

It was small but perfectly formed. Beautiful location, with stunning views. Lovely touches, like milk in the fridge and basic food goods left for us.

Although it was perfect for us, there was no wifi or 4G connection, so you would not be able to use this location if you wanted to work

Such a beautiful stay, the location was perfect and Sharon was helpful with what to do with my time during my very short stay! I managed to do all that she suggested! The cabin was clean, well equipped and comfortable. The outdoor bath was amazing too. The town isn’t far at all if you need bits and I actually had phone signal in parts of the cabin, mostly by the front door, so no problem if I needed to make a call or search for something nearby! A lovely stay, and would definitely recommend!

Beautiful location and perfect for couples (with dogs). The lodge exceeded expectations and was finished to a very high standard. Full equipped with everything you need for a break away.

Lack of wi-fi. It was a working break away so the lack of wi-fi was an issue. I appreciated that most would enjoy the lack of connectivity, and had we not been working as well it wouldn't have been an issue. It may have been my mistake on booking, as I hadn't noticed there would be no wi-fi/signal.
