Physical location was great. Walking distance to everything. Apartment setup also very nice.

This was literally the loudest street in Jerusalem. People outside partying to 3 am. Impossible to sleep. Also, lots of windows without curtains so really bright in am. No dishes in the kitchen. And no hot water.

Cooling, Walking distance to the Western Wall, Ben Yehuda Street, and Shook.

1. Not a single hook anywhere (especially not in bathrooms) to hang a towel, or jacket, or anything, 2. Had to buy our toilet paper. We ran out after day 4. 3. No microwave (even though the facilities description says there is one). 4. The unit is one story above a café on one side and a row of restaurants on the other. The restaurants were blasting loud music until 3:00 AM. The café opened at 10:00 AM and the din of loud, laughing café-goers did not stop until late in the night. We did not have a moment of peace as the café was open even on the Sabbath, We could not fall asleep until the music stopped. 5. There are no shades in the main area and the bedroom shades are white, flimsy, thin fabric that do nothing to block the early morning light. Expect to go to sleep at 3:00 AM after the music stops and wake up at 6:00 AM when the bright light streams in. This unit is not suitable as a quiet haven or rest. We requested a full refund to compensate us for our lack of sleep over 7 days. I recommend that this unit be de-listed from Booking.com as one cannot sleep with the constant noise.

The apartment was gorgeous and decorated really well and we had a great stay here. We loved the mezzanine floor bedroom and en-suite bathroom. Kitchen and dining area were well appointed and comfortable. It had a lovely balcony that was perfect to watch the world go by or to read as the sun set over the city. There was everything that we needed and air-conditioning was perfect. Location-wise, you couldn’t do better. Just 20 minutes to the Western wall and 5 minutes to Jaffa Street and the light rail and a short walk to all the shops and restaurants on the famous Ben Yehuda street. It was super easy to travel around Jerusalem from here. It was good value for money.

We would, however have appreciated some blinds or shutters! The flat has tons of windows which is lovely but no curtains or blinds except in the bedrooms which meant there felt a lack of privacy. Also the curtains in the bedrooms were very thin and white so light flooded the rooms from very early in the morning. Also be aware that the apartment is in the middle of a street full of bars and restaurants so it can be quite noisy in the evening and on a weekend - music stopped at 1.30am on Saturday night.
