Apart of York - Walmgate

The accommodation was spot on for a 5 night stay. The flat was spotlessly clean and the kitchen facilities were way more than we needed. Excellent large shower and everything on the ground floor. We could not have asked for a better location being within easy walking distance of everything we wanted to visit yet not in the busy part of town. There were restaurants of all types and nationalities within 300 yards and at prices to suit. Convenient for Tescos and a brewery round the corner with an excellent tour which is not to be missed. The host had provided a selection of goodies to get us started with milk and butter in the fridge. So thoughtful. We would definitely book here again and strongly recommend it to any couple visiting York.

The only negative comment we could have is that we knew what time the guests upstairs got up as we heard their feet but not enough to really bother us.

Comfortable, great location, had everything we needed! Beautiful space with tall ceilings and plenary of seating in the living room. Comfortable beds and pillows. I would stay here again!

Two narrow and steep flights of stairs. One up to the living area and the second up to the bedrooms. We did fine but could be difficult for some.

The apartment was beautifully decorated, spacious and central location meant everything was accessible. The little welcome touches were so thoughtful!

Apartment no 1- One bedroom apartment.Location great Step out your door and your in the city. Beautifully presented bedroom with large attached bathroom with separate kitchen/living area. Loved all the extra thoughtful touches, milk + butter in fridge cereal provided. Lovely towels and bath robes. Getting keys was very easy. I even got a message from the host for an extremely early check-in.

The slamming of the exit doors from other units and the upstairs people were a bit noisy. Suggest you put some felt strips that stick on to door frames.

Everything was perfect

The moment we walked in (after receiving very clear instructions on key pick up) we loved the flat. Tastefully decorated and with ample space including a large bathroom and shower which is rare. The kitchen was stocked with the basics such as milk, cereal, butter coffee etc. The flat was stocked with brochures and souvenir booklets for the various destinations in York. Its location is superb, next to restaurants, pub, convenience store and a short walk to the many attractions.

Location perfect for seeing all sights - it’s easy to walk around York. Also on a street with lots of restaurants and bars. The apartment was spotlessly clean and very well equipped for a very comfortable stay with lots of extras supplied by Andrea - jams, coffee, tea, milk and cereals and info about great locations to see. I highly recommend Apart of York - we enjoyed our stay immensely.
