ROMOLO 24-TRIESTE CENTER

A neat apartment in a building with an elevator, within walking distance from the train station, right in the old town and 5 meters from a shop. The apartment has a washing machine and automatic air conditioning. Overall, this is a very good option, I definitely recommend it.

The location is good, easy walk to train and bus stations and there's a market two doors down. The grand canal is a 3 minute walk. Old town Trieste is small so everything is within easy access. Host is incredibly friendly and helpful, possibly the most friendly I've encountered. She offered to give me an early check-in because I was sick, and she was super available and responsive. Bed is comfortable enough for a couple of nights. Shower is well designed and has good water pressure, toiletries are provided including conditioner which is rare. Coffee and tea and a bottle of water were provided. There's a lift in the building so no hauling luggage up flights of stairs. Overall a great stay for the cost!

Very good location, the apartment has air conditioning, spacious. The communication with the host was excellent, easy check-in and out.

The apartment was easily accessible, spacious, and well located. It has a coffee machine, which, together with the coffee pods that were provided, makes excellent coffee. A selection of camomile, green, and ceylon tea bags were also provided together with milk pods. Roxy, our host, had also set the aircon for us prior to our arrival, which was a welcome relief from the 30°C + heatwave! She contacted us directly prior to our arrival to ensure that we were able to access the apartment and even came to assist us in person.

The bed! The strapping supporting the mattress has obviously stretched, so the mattress sinks very badly in the middle and offers no support. I would suggest replacing the strapping with wooden cross bars.

Everything was very good. No complaints.

Great sized apartment in a great location near everything you need and want to do. Staff were excellent with communication, and helped with anything we needed. Great little additions like pod coffee and shower supplies. A fully stocked kitchen if you are planning to self cater. Great bathroom with excellent shower.

As mentioned in other comments, the bed is noisy due to mattress being on a wood base, but it is a minor inconvenience.

The host was super friendly and ready to help, the appartement is very center located, well equiped, nice and clean.
