Stay Sleep Rest - Oldham

When we arrived ther was no space at the advertised free private parking, I approached agentleman who was in the adjorning property (however it appeared to be all one) and was rudely dismissed "not from here" From the outside (as we did not enter) there was rubbish, cigarette packets and the property appeared unkempt. When we requested access to put our bags into the room we were told code not avaliable til 4 pm (which they did state when booking)after finally getting to where you actually enter the property we were greeted by a fire escape (very steep), at this point we decided that as we had our child with us that we would not be stopping there. Really think that the owner should make people aware of the access and the location as it is on the inetersection of 2 very busy roads, access is at the rear and the private parking was full when we arrived, given that check in is 4pm and we arrived just before 2 it was unlikely that any parking would be avaliable. A lot of what I have wrote is based on my initial opinion of the property, however the description and lack of factual info regarding the property makes me feel i made the correct decision not to stay there. I WOULD READ ALL THE REVIEWS BEFORE BOOKING, I never as i was going to a concert and accomodation was very limited, Really wish i had.

Extremely clean and wide room. Communication from host all and beyond.

No hot water in the bathroom. Quite a scary steps to come up to the house.

Loved everything about it. Incredibly spacious, beautifully decorated and location was absolutely perfect. Staff were also super kind and helpful as well, can’t really ask for much more!

Only complaint I would have is that the floors in the communal and passage areas are very spongy and creaky which left me with a bit of anxiety that I would go through the floor or wake up all the other guests. Floor in the room was fine, was just in the communal areas like the kitchen, bathroom, hallways and stairs

Very clean and the room was lovely and big

It was a bit noisy with sirens with it being next to the hospital but apart from that it was a great stay
