West Coast Vila Wolmar 7

Very nice place

The villa is spacious and big. It is a very peaceful place being surrounded by greenery and resorts. The garden area is also big, and although it was a bit dry due to the drought season, it's very nice anyway. The host and the owner were very responsive and ready to fulfil all our needs and requests. The location is just gorgeous as it's easy to walk to the beach, very calm and relatively empty. There are some rocky barriers which, along with the coral reef itself, block most of the waves making the water always very calm. It's a very safe area as both the beach and the access street are constantly patrolled by security guards. The Flic-en-Flac beach (with all restaurants, shops, food trucks, etc) is ~8 mins drive away.

The beach had a generous amount of corals on it, which made it harder to walk or dig with the kids. As the tide changed, it got a lot more friendly. The same issue occurs on all the Flic-en-Flac coast as well as other areas around the whole of Mauritius.

Very good host, secure and quiet (no barking dogs like many other places), short drive to a good public beach.
