Lands End Hostel and B&B

Everything was well organized & carefully labelled; instructions were clear.

I prefer a personal welcome rather than instructions sent by email. The bunk beds were very creaky (any movement by the other person in the night was very audible). The breakfast seemed expensive for what it was. And the allocation of the toilets was odd, some distance away from the room when there was a toilet next door allocated (with appropriate key) to a different room.

Wir haben auf unserer Wanderung auf dem SWC Path hier eine Nacht im Zimmer mit separatem, eigenen Bad verbracht. Die Unterkunft war sehr sauber, wir waren voll zufrieden. Besonders toll ist die komplett ausgestattete Küche wo man auf Vertrauensbasis (Fertig) Lebensmittel und Getränke kaufen kann. Obst gab es sogar umsonst. Es gibt einen Aufenthaltsraum und schönen Aussenbereicht zum Essen. Zum nächsten Supermarkt sind es etwa 20min zu Laufen, Für Wandernde: von Crantock Beach geht es zu Fuss steil bergauf und zum Essen gehen vermutlich den meisten zu weit.

Schönes Hostel, weg vom Rummel bei Land's End. Eigentlich sich aufgrund seiner Lage (3 min von Bushalte entfernt als Unterkunft für Wanderer, die den SWCP absolvieren. Gutes Konzept für einfache Verpflegung, zahlbar in die honesty Kasse. Frühstück kann vor Ort am Vorabend bestellt werden.

Really well thought out guest centric place

The self-check-in was relatively easy with good WhatsApp communication. The honesty kitchen was well stocked. The location was not far off the coastal path. For a hostel set up, it was well thought through.

The wifi signal was low/zero in the room, but fine just outside the room. Needs a signal booster. The shower has a push button with a short timer and a fixed showerhead. I can understand the intention, but just not a fan. Bathroom 3 could benefit from some soundproofing, given its proximity to the communal dining area. Suggest a sign on the bin to encourage use of the other recycling bins as a first thought.
