Briardene Cottage - Devon countryside - sleeps 6

Near Exeter city, quiet remote area with sufficient parking. Interior modern, clean.

The radiator in kitchen was not working so very cold in the kitchen area. Polyester bedlinen, duvet and pillows instead of natural fibres. No top sheet provided. Logs were provided but nothing to light it with.

Nice, cozy and lovely cottage with idyllic overlooking. The area is quiet and safe. The house kitchen is fully equipped where someone can cook and relax. The house is 3-4 miles from the pretty exeter city where you can find so many restaurants, shops and supermarkets such as Sainsbury, Tesco, etc. To go to Exeter and other towns , I would advise to take right from the house down to Redhill/Exwick and then to Exeter . This route is better than taking left from the house. The host Steve and Jenny are nice and lovely. They are very accommodating and explained everything to us. Also there is a very helpful guide book. Thank you Jenny and Steve for nice welcoming , warm hospitality. and making our journey enjoyable one. We do appreciate and highly acknowledge your message offering earlier check in. The cake is tasty and delicious and other extras are very touching. Definitely we will visit and stay again, if possible. It is a pleasure to recommend Briardene cottage for friends, colleagues and families.

Very kind and approachable host. The house had everything we needed for our stay. It was beautifully clean and tidy and the beds were comfortable. Having two bathrooms was very convenient for a family. The kitchen was well equipped and very modern. Comprehensive instructions for how to use everything. The garden and views are fantastic.

Loved the views the horses was beautiful. The cottage itself was lovely enjoyed our time there.
