Yep! Slapen bij de Sluis

The room was luxurious, had the loft. Bed very nice. I liked sitting outside the house on the seats provided and following the busy life by the sluice, best seating in town and I could go round the corner and buy a pint of local beer from the local brewery and bring it back to my seat. Love the town.

The owners were very friendly and accommodating to our late arrival. Because we were the only guests that evening, they gave us the larger accommodation for no extra charge. The room overlooked the canal and the bridge, which was very nice! The only "issue" was a mistake by me. I thought we booked in Giethoorn, but the hotel was in a small village about 20 minutes away. But, that was perfectly fine, actually, bcz it was lovely a lovely village with a couple of very nice restaurants and charming shops (including one by the hotel owners).

Nothing to change

The apt was comfortable and in a wonderful location overlooking a lock. The apt. Had everything you need and our host was quite friendly and welcoming.

Very cute hotel, in a great location in the village. It's fun to watch the boats go through, and you'll have lots of people talking to you when you're outside. Easy walk to some restaurants as well. The staff that let us in to the room was very friendly and helpful.

Room was very hot on this day, and difficult to cool down. Breakfast was served after 10am, which is very late for us (we checked out at 9am already).
