There is no sink to wash dishes. Unless you do it in the bathroom basin. The stove top is right next to a window with curtains. So the kitchen area could not be used. Builder was still doing finishing touches to the property.

The location was good.

No usable internet. Even though the issue had been reported by previous renters, and raised by me upon arrival, the issues persisted. There is a wifi extension device in the unit that, I believe, is faulty. I rented the place in between two conferences, hoping to do some computer work there - it was impossible. The room was not very clean (particularly the microwave), there is no window - to vent the unit you need to keep the door open - not ideal. The spring mattress is old, needs to be replaced. Very uncomfortable. The bathroom is in not great condition. Additionally, the shower has a poor water temperature regulation system. This should be replaced. Disappointed with the service I got. Having paid for a place with internet, I feel that a price discount was in order upon these issues being reported. Nevertheless, the property administration did not take the initiative to somehow compensate for this big inconvenience.

Wifi is shocking, only 2 Mbps, unable to do any work

Great little flat away from home for work, the palace was spotless on arrival great communication from the agent. Location to Gatwick airport and the local area. Good solution on the TV and good WiFi connection.

Still in the recovery stage after a hip operation the bed we found to hard and I couldn't find a good position to keep pain free after laying down. Few more pillows for sleeping. Maybe put a garden shed in the garden to allow you to expand the living area into your storage area to allow a bit more room and possibly add a kitchen sink with a small washing machine. AC filter not been cleaned in a while.

Convenient for visiting relatives which was the purpose of our visit. Pleased there was offstreet parking

Wasn't happy having to wash dishes etc in the bathroom. A washing up bowl that could be filled with hot water from kettle would be more hygienic. Property needed some maintenance - loose plank by door on decking could be a trip hazard and basin plug didn't work.

The Dickens Suite is a self-contained annexe in the garden of a property in the suburbs of Crawley. I never met the owners of the suite, but access via a gate code and a lock box containing a key was well-documented during the interaction I had via Booking.com and couldn't have been more straightforward. The room was well-equipped with a TV, fridge, cooker and microwave, had a comfortable bed and an ensuite shower/toilet. Parking was easy and free on the driveway outside the property. The WiFi signal was strong and reliable, making business communications in the evenings very dependable.

If I could improve just one thing it would be the electric shower, the water flow being rather under-powered, and the temperature control a little finicky! This is a minor grumble however, and the facility is otherwise first class.

The only good things about this place is the Wi-Fi, location to town centre and road and rail network

The place on arrival was not as the photos advertised at all. The decking was shabby and badly maintained. Opaque film across all windows was torn and mouldy. On opening the door to the suite we were bombarded with stale grease and cooking smells, it took us 3 hours of airing to make it tolerable, but once you shut the doors the smell started to build. The old sprung mattress on the bed was like sleeping on a sack of potatoes. The cleaning was poor, smeared mirrors, greasy plug sockets and mould on window frames. An abundance of trip and fire hazards abound. Plug socket directly above hob, trailing extension wires, no PAT testing on any appliance, trailing curtains. Holes in walls and poor polyfilla attempts festoon the place. The shower was primitive but adequate, however a non slip shower mat would be advisable.
