Madhawa Ubud Villa & Spa

Wow... this is a really wonderful place a bit outside of Ubud... you have your own villa (inside the family compound including temples and all) with you own private pool... what a wonderful experience..

there is nothing to complain at all...

My stay at the villa was truly wonderful. Yunik is one of the kindest and most thoughtful people I’ve met here, and her warmth made the experience even more special. The villa itself is stunning. I’ve been to Bali and Ubud many times, and this is without a doubt one of the most beautiful places I’ve stayed. The room was spotless, the garden perfectly cared for, and the pool sparkling clean. It doesn’t have a hotel or resort feel. It’s more like being welcomed into a home. To reach the villa, you walk through a family compound with small temples, which offers such a lovely glimpse into local life. There is some construction on the property, but I barely heard any noise at all during my stay. The villa is also easy to reach if you want to order Grab or request a car/bike. Just note that from the street you go up a few steps, and once inside the property there are a few steps down to the villa, so anyone with mobility concerns should keep that in mind. It wasn’t an issue for me, as Yunik kindly helped carry my luggage. Don’t forget to bring insect repellent. People who are bothered by animal sounds at night or by the presence of a gecko here and there inside the room should keep that in mind. But they’re harmless and a common occurrence here in Ubud, after all, we’re surrounded by nature. The room had all the toiletries I needed. My only suggestion would be to include some body lotion. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I’ll happily recommend this villa to my friends.

Loved the way it was secluded away and for the purpose we wanted it to be that quiet It was private and very comfortable Just a world to get away to when you need some alone time and peace The hosts were lovely and welcoming to our needs

We really enjoyed our stay at Madhawa Ubud Villa. The accommodation is modern, very clean, and offers complete privacy. The owners are extremely kind and helpful, and we could even rent a scooter directly at the villa. The location is peaceful, away from the busy centre of Ubud, yet everything is easily reachable by scooter. A perfect place for a relaxing stay!

Incredible villa, jungle views, pool and great breakfast and host family.

Hosted by a local Balinese family with only 2 villas on the property was a luxury and authentic experience.

The hosts were so nice and helpful and every thing at the stay was perfect
