"Excellent place though one needs a car to get there. Great facilities, Own little "house""

Very large living room/kitchen. New and modern. Have all facilities, also coffee+tea (which we did not use but thankful for that the host made these available) Nice and clean, easy to get in.

The water taste very much chlorine so we did not drink any tea/tap water

We stayed for one night, and it was a good place to catch our breath. It is spacious, clean and well equipped. It would be suitable for longer stays. The location was quiet and you can take a forest walk down the road. From the abundance of fliers and guides it seems like there would also be plenty to do around Strömstad. The place really had far more to offer than we had time to enjoy.

It was just a stop on our route, but we could have stayed longer. We could only think of two downsides that are related to sleeping. The bed in the smaller bedroom (which we didn’t use) is too soft and bouncy, at least for adults. The bed in the main bedroom was okay. But there, with the thermostat turned all the way down, the floor heating was still on. It was 26°C in the bedroom at night, too hot considering it wasn’t more than 12°C outside. We hadn’t seen or spoken anyone during our stay. It was very late when we noticed the problem and we had to leave early again. Otherwise we would have contacted the owner to see if it could be fixed.
