The Boatside Inn - Quilters - Super King Ensuite

The welcome we had here was lovely, and the room was spotless and very comfortable. We slept really well in a very comfortable bed. The railway ran right behind our room, but the room was so soundproof that we didn’t hear it. Breakfast was a lovely continental selection, but was maybe a bit expensive at£15 with no cooked option.

There was nothing we didn’t like.

There were no breakfast facilities, This wasn't made clear until after I had booked.

Breakfast was not available unless pre ordered, which I didn’t when I booked as I’ve never heard of such a thing!

The room was a good size but was shabby. The toilet and shower weren’t very clean the hard water has badly calcified the shower and the hose was split, water everywhere. Theadbare towels and cracked wash basin, cobwebs everywhere and dead bugs on the blinds.

Very friendly staff. Excellent food nice atmosphere clean rooms. Lovely location will definitely be back.
