Casa Rua Bela - Beachside Apartments

Beautiful accommodation, we stayed in the penthouse that was on 2 levels. It was very comfortable, with everything you could need for a short stay. Great location, lovely walk along the promenade and a 5 minute walk from the beach. Just a bus or cheap Uber ride away from the Centre of Porto. Excellent local restaurants nearby as well as supermarkets for some basics. On road free parking in local area but not outside the property as the road is very narrow. Ariana was the perfect host, she met us and gave us lots of useful information about the area and was available for contact if needed.

Beautiful location, near the beach, accessible transportation to the city center. Nearby supermarket, restaurant for pleasant sitting. The Portuguese are very nice people, smiling and always willing to give advice. We plan to repeat the vacation.

We loved the property, it was plenty of room for four of us and had most things we needed. Great location and Ariana a really good and helpful host.

Location is great, furnishings are lovely, and it is quiet!

Casa Rua Bela exceeded our expectations, everything we needed was catered for in the apartment. The kitchen has everything you could need, the dining and living area were great. The bathroom has air of luxury. That our expectations were exceeded is due to Ariana's wonderful hosting skills. We asked for recommendations for vegan friendly places to eat (no easy task), within a couple of hours we had a list of places longer than we could manage to visit during our stay. All that we tried were excellent, the food in Porto is top notch. Foz a great base with lots to do, the beaches and the walks are great. It is also is less than a 10 minute taxi journey from Porto in one direction and Matosinhos beach in the other (including two larger supermarkets). We found that app based taxis were cheaper than the bus. There is also the historic trolley type trams. There is much more to explore in Porto than we expected, which makes a return visit very likely. We will be sure to book Casa Rua Bela, if available.

We liked everything. Some reviews have commented on features of an older property; we didn't find that these were a problem for us.

Ariana was a great host, very responsive and helpful. We asked for an extra blanket and we received it the same day. I really appreciate it. The self check in and check out were very smooth. The garden/patio area was so nice, peaceful and sunny. We had a great time.
