Super clean, amazing staff, beautiful location tucked back from the busier parts of Medewi.

Stayed here for 6 nights and had a really great experience. Everything throughout the stay went super smoothly from start to finish. The villa owner was incredibly friendly, welcoming, and always replied promptly whenever I had questions or needed help. I felt very well taken care of during my stay. The villa itself was excellent — everything worked perfectly including the air conditioning, water heater, and amenities. The place was clean, comfortable, and located away from the main road, making it peaceful and quiet. Perfect if you’re looking for quality downtime and a relaxing stay. I also rented a bike directly from the owner which was very convenient and hassle-free. The location was great too — only around a 5-minute ride to Medewi Beach, making it very convenient for surfing. On top of that, the owner recommended a driver for airport transfers, and both rides between Ngurah Rai Airport and Medewi went very smoothly. Overall, I had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend Turtle House Surf & Stay to anyone visiting Medewi. Thank you for the hospitality!

Alles war wirklich super. Der Gastgeber war immer zu erreichen, zuvorkommend und freundlich. Anliegen wurden schnell gelöst. Es wurde regelmäßig geputzt. Für alles hatte er einen Kontakt: Taxi, Scooter, Wäscherei, Surfen :)

Wirklich das einzige was die Ruhe gestört hat, war der super laute Aufruf zum Gebet von unterschiedlichen Moschees, mehrmals täglich (um 4:30 in der Früh ging es schon immer los) die einfach in dem Ort überall sind. Aber da kann ja die Unterkuft nichts dafür :)

An absolute GEM! We loved turtle house in Medewi. It’s a two bedroom homestay with a kitchen set in the middle of a quiet rice terrace. We absolutely loved how tranquil and chill this place was, the best place to relax after a surf. The kitchen and common areas were a huge bonus. The rooms themselves were clean and very comfortable. I highly recommend staying here if you are comfortable riding a scooter as it’s off the main road, nothing within walking distance.

The only negative to the property is the noise from the local Mosque which starts at 4:45 every morning and will absolutely wake you up. That’s something that’s across all of Medewi but we really noticed it here.

Beautiful surroundings, super cozy house and sweet owners.

I loved my stay in turtle house. The location is unique. So peaceful and the most beautiful sunrises with a view on the rice fields. The accommodation was very well equipped. So many beautiful details. Nothing was missing. The owner was communicating very good and friendly.

Ali is so nice and warm, the room was same as photos. Big cozy and clean. Got a nice week at medewi🙂
