Fabulous stay, great location, luxury lodges loved the stay!

The mattresses are springy & need replacing

The Lodge was lovely and clean and in a great location. The views from the lodge were great, and it was nice and private. We used the sauna, which was good - you book a slot and have it to yourself, which was great. We ate in the Godfather restaurant, it was nice but a bit overpriced for what you get. The resort itself was also very clean and new looking and so so quiet, which we liked. Just a short drive to St Andrews, which is great to explore - such a beautiful place.

We had a 4 night stay, the 1st night the hot tub was a bit cold. On our last night, the hot tub water was a green colour and there was dirty foam gathering in places. We went to reception and they quickly sent someone over, however he offered no solution apart from draining the pool completely, but this would have meant we couldn't use it for hours, so we didn't bother. While we were there we didn't see anyone come to check the hot tub (we have been lots of lodge/hot tub holidays and every day it gets checked) I think this was the issue as there was no maintenance to check everyday and adjust the water. It was disappointing that 2 of 4 nights of using the hot tub we weren't completely satisfied. I think it could be easily fixed though by having someone who is knowledgeable and knows what they are doing with hot tub maintenance.

It was very clean had everything you could want . Excellently position and views.

2nd bedroom very small

The room looked out over the open countryside with the sea in the distance. Very quiet both during the day and night. The jacuzzi was always kept clean and warm, so it was easy to use. There is a nice path down to the reservoir and across the fields, which was especially relaxing to walk after dinner.

Space was a bit cramped due to it being a trailer house, but didn't deter from the experience. The garbage box quickly got filled, so a garbage collection service would have been nice.

Comfortable, spacious and well laid out lodge, very well fitted out and in a lovely location close to St. Andrews

Lodge was in a very good location looking towards the sea. Friendly and helpful staff.

When grass was cut, the cuttings were not uplifted which meant that when you walked the cuttings stuck to your shoes and then transported onto the lodge decking and indoors.
