Leizel and her husband were great hosts, they made sure we were comfortable during our stay and provided a delicious breakfast. Even when our aircon broke during the night, the following day, it was fixed which we were really grateful for. Location was also close to the main town, so it was a short walk or bike ride.

Owner is nice and very accommodating however they need to improve their facilities specifically cleanliness.

Convenient

The hosts were truly accommodating. I had a bike with me and they allowed me to park it right outside the front door. The place has a gate so it felt very secure and the staff are always watching guard. When I arrived, they gave me an upgrade upon learning that I'm a solo female traveler. I got bumped up to a bigger room! So generous. The beds were very comfy and the AC works well. They had reliable internet. I was able to work though I didn't have any video calls that day. It felt like a real homestay, I got to chat with the family that owns the place which was pleasant. They were welcoming without being too intrusive so if you're not the chatty type, don't worry. The morning before leaving for Kalanggaman Island, they served a hearty breakfast with tocino, danggit, fried rice, eggs, bread, and a slice of fruit. I left full and happy. Palompon is a pretty small town so everything is just a 15-minute walk. There's an ATM by the Tourism Office. Nearby, there's a food park with Filipino food. Jollibee and Goldilocks are also within walking distance.

The bathroom had a faint smell but it really didn't bother me much. It sort of goes away after a while. If I were to improve anything, maybe I'll add a dedicated working area with cushioned seats. This is quite personal since I work remotely. They did have a dining set but the table was a bit high and I had to put pillows on the chair to save my back.

The place was totally opposite about what appear in the website. Room dirty, toilet blocked impossible to use, the people in this house was too noisy and not care about us. We stay 2hours and we leave asap… we goto take another place ( hotel) to stay because there we not want spend one more minute… very disappointed about this place.
