Beautiful environment, above a nice lake.

Not enough equipment : no kettle, no oven rack, no blanket, no bath mat... The apartment is somewhat dilapidated.

La localisation : à quelques minutes à pieds du villages et du lac. La simplicité du check in et out. La vue est incroyable. Un endroit parfait pour se reposer et faire des randonnées.

Il manque quelques ustensiles de cuisine (bol, éplucheurs légumes…)

The location of the place is amazing. I must say its the best in Ranzanico. Its worth climbing uphill. Most importantly its very quiet, serene, beautiful and fresh. So you can stay there and dont go down the hill to the busy street around Lago. It has supermarket close by with fresh food. Best place to stay if you want to do some trekking and be with the nature. We traveled without cat - so it was easy, we took a bus from Bergamo to Ranzanico Lago and then took a shortcut - 20min steep climb directly to home. But very steep :D Take that it mind. If you dont want to do that you can wait for another bus that goes to the mountains. Bu it was longer so we used the climb.

Would be great to have more toilet paper and kitchen towels. Maybe a small shampoo and soap for the first night. Also a tiny outdoor table in the terrace would be so great to have breakfast outside.

- Unclear entry instructions and bad attitude of the host (see explanation below) - Dirty mouldy fridge we had to clean ourselves - Tiny shower with very low water pressure - Small garage - No mosquito nets We followed the host instructions to enter last appartment on the right but it was the wrong one and the key worked! On the second night at 1:30am the owner of the appartment tried to enter and called the police on us. We had pack and move all our stuff in the middle of the night to the other side of the complex and didn't sleep until 4am. The host blamed the situation on us and said he made us a great fawor for compensating the owner of the other apparment. When it was his responsibility to give us accurate instructions or check us in himself. What is even stranger he brought us paper lease contract to sign claiming it is only something regarding privacy. After all of this he wanted 40 EUR late check out fee if we stay longer then until 12 o'clock.

Location

It was difficult to find the garage with the keys. Managed to do this with help of local people only. The heating control system in the apartment stopped to work, so it was very cold in the morning

Great views from the balcony. And silence, little car traffic. Friendly older neighbors. You can take a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
