"Worse than Slums I lived in 3th World Countries"

I would not recommend this accommodation. On the first day, the cushions smelled bad, and there were stains and mold on the carpet and curtains. While we tried to overlook these issues, the situation quickly worsened. The heater never worked, and the hot water stopped functioning, forcing us to cancel our plans for two days because we couldn’t shower. We contacted Booking.com customer service multiple times, but the issue was never properly resolved. Calls were repeatedly disconnected, and we were told someone would come to fix it—but no one ever did. After 3–4 days, we were finally sent an email instructing us to check the boiler ourselves. However, we didn’t have access to the room, passcode, keys, or proper instructions, as this property has no reception and uses self check-in. Eventually, after repeatedly requesting it, we were given a passcode but no guidance on how to use the complicated settings. We ended up having to call a skilled friend to fix it ourselves, despite being promised that a staff member would visit. To make matters worse, a couple of days later, the digital door lock malfunctioned. It only showed a red light instead of white, forcing us to leave the door open to avoid getting locked inside. On top of that, the fire exit did not work, which is a serious safety hazard. Overall, the lack of proper maintenance, presence of mold, nonfunctional fire safety, poor communication, and complete absence of support made our stay extremely stressful and unsafe.

"reasonable after very frustrating process to find the property/gain access."

I didn’t receive the email with address/instructions to access the property. Had to call the call centre to get info, then install an app. I’m visually impaired so my taxi driver had to stay for half an hour to help me with this and also the key safe by the bedroom. I had to pay him an extra £10 for his help. Upon leaving I was unable to put the key back as I couldn’t use the key safe so I need an address to post the key back. Also the bathroom was very smelly of drains.

"Avoid at all costs!!!!"

• When we arrived we were given no information on what our room number or key code was so I contacted them and was given multiple different wrong key codes for 1.5 hours until I was actually given the correct code. I was upstairs and downstairs trying all these different codes they were giving me and none of them worked. It was the most stressful check in I have ever experienced, I was outside crying thinking I had been scammed. Every time I tried a code and it didn't work they had to hang up and call management for another code and I just had to wait for a call back every time and this happened 11 times. They didn't have a clue what they were doing. We had traveled 5+ hours to this place and we were so upset when all of this happened. I also had surgery in the morning which they were aware of so all this added stress was really not needed. • Filthy mattress topper with blood, hair and god knows what else on there - made me feel sick when I saw what I had been sleeping on. •Filthy kitchen - loads of mouldy food in the fridge that has been there for months, I had to clean this out on arrival but there was one item in particular I couldn't clean out, it was a plate inside a bag that was covered in mould and when I went to take it out the fumes made my throat hurt from the amount of mould. •No kettle or mugs in the room as promised. • The cleaner turned up but did not clean the kitchen even after I complained to the owners and sent them pictures of everything. The cleaner also has no idea where the cleaning products were so asked me if I knew where they were which obviously I didn't - she found them eventually but this just proves the place doesn't get cleaned properly if the cleaner doesn't even know where the cleaning products are to begin with.
