Tig Cottage - a rural, quirky, pet friendly 2 bedroom cottage near Ballantrae

Such a perfect property, the pictures don't do it justice. Loved relaxing in the garden, listening to the birds and the water running by the property. Vic was so helpful with instructions on the cottage and with suggestions on what to do and see on my visit. Definitely can see why people return again and again, I certainly will be!

The fact that use to leave to go back to work! But seriously, absolutely nothing needs changed.

A rural treat !! The location of the cottage is great and away from the madding crowd. The cottage is decorated to a high standard and has some great furniture. The kitchen has everything you need for your stay. The bathroom is very good with bath and stand alone shower. Bedrooms are very nice and beds and pillows all very comfy. The owners certainley know how to make their quests happy. The cottage is spotless and even though pets friendly there is no trace or smell of pets. A lovely garden with nice decked seating area with just the sounds of the river, birds and breeze through the trees. If you want to get away from the hustle and bustle of daily life then this is the place ! No peeping horns or sirens and if you get upto ten vehicles going past in a day then thats a busy day . It is simply fantastic and well worth a stay. This was our second stay and it really hard to leave. Vic and Greg the owners do a great job and communication with them is first class. "We will be back"

The property is well looked after and caters well to guests travelling with pets. There is an enclosed garden (albeit with a steep river bed running through) and lots of lovely walks nearby. We enjoyed watching the lovely songbirds that would come to visit the locally crafted bird tree. The property itself is well-equipped and has a very handy separate utility room adjoined to the kitchen. We had a very peaceful stay.

There is nothing to fault as the property is lovely. There isn't a whole lot nearby however, so make sure you bring your shopping with you.
