We felt very welcome. All things you need for a comfortable stay are available. Short ways - to the city center, to the next supermarket. Life as an Islander ;)

Water smelled bad. Apartment was very warm and was unable to turn it down/off because there was tape on the temperature control

The location is great when you have a car, free parking is a bonus. A few supermarkets nearby and an easy access to various attractions/sites. Beds were comfortable and nice linen. Enough of crockeries and cutleries in the kitchen.

There was no dishwasher, while we specifically looked for and booked a place with it. The story was invented that the previous tenants broke it, in fact there was no even connection for the dishwasher at the apartment. When we asked when it would be repaired and delivered, the host said it was removed permanently. Please note, the heating is on in Iceland all year round, while one of the radiators at the property did not have a thermostat. It was unbearably hot even with the open windows/balcony, and this made it impossible to sleep at night, as the flat was facing a busy road. On the 3rd night of our 5 day’s stay we finally had the heating turned off manually and could keep the windows closed at night. A noisy fridge, substandard bathroom and old facilities added a bitter taste to our stay. Electricity tripped twice, FYI you cannot turn a kettle on along with something else. Incredibly annoying continues messages from the property about extraordinary extra charges for everything, ie early arrival, late departure, not removed rubbish, not washed dishes... while the host replies selectively only to those messages he wants to reply to. I had to contact booking.com 3 times and I am still waiting for the final resolution from them.

Easy to find location. Kitchen very well equipped. Beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds. Very clean. Excellent communication from hosts
