Center stay Kaunas - Peledyne - Owl's nest apartments

Good value, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was fairly well equipped and the hosts were lovely too.

I had surgery while there and would have liked to use the air conditioner as it hot very warm in the loft area at night. But that was a minor issue. The fire alarm kept going off during our stay too, but this was not the fault of the host, it was an issue in the building.

-I cannot say enough nice things about Jurgita and Zilvinas and their gorgeous flat- the positives far outweigh any negatives! When entering the Owl's Nest it was clean and smelled lovely with everything you could possibly need provided and if you needed something else there is an 'iki' supermarket across the road- felt like a proper 'home away from home'. If there were any queries I had, I messaged my hosts through Booking and they were kind and helpful. -Bed was comfy, good wifi for working and Netflix was available -Bathroom was gorgeous and spotlessly clean- pictures didn't do it justice, plus I loved the heated flooring :) -Location is great and a Bolt is no more than about 5 euros to get into different areas of Kaunas- walking would take about 20 minutes depending where you wish to go, however it was quite cold and icy so I opted for the Bolts

-Finding the property was a tiny bit of a nightmare-and my only 'minus' for the property. I went round in circles and had to call my lovely hosts in the end before finding a not very obvious door and climbed the four flights of stairs with my luggage to the flat and couldn't find the lift until later in the day! (This (annoyingly) was the theme for most of my stay as when I occasionally ordered food or a Bolt, the drivers couldn't find me either.) -As a solo female traveller it would've been nice to have a chain across the door- although it is worth saying I never felt unsafe whilst staying there, I think I am just very used to the UK and having a door chain for security
