"Smashing Visit To Scarbados"

9.0

The location was incredibly central but there was absolutely no outside noise. Amazing. It's kitted out fantastically and as apartments go, it's massive. Best accommodation we've ever had in Scarborough and we've been a fair few times.

Other than phone signal which certainly isn't the properties fault, their WiFi made the difference though.

"Would go back as all in all we had a good 2 nights stay."

8.0

Liked the apartment's central location not far from train station and sea front. We didn't use the kitchen so can't vouch for it's equipment. Apartment was clean and nicely decorated.

The shower in the en-suite was very good but the shower tray didn't drain as quick as was needed so was in danger of overflowing. Communial areas a little bit scruffy but nicely lit.

"great location. poor communication"

7.0

apartment is in a good location- view of the castle from one room and of the sea from the front. it's very spacious too

communication really let it down. we received the standard automated email with access info on - which provided check in and out times and said early check in/ late check out may be available for a fee. sent message to request that straight away - followed up twice. never got any response to any of 3 messages. . also messaged to let the owners know a chair was broken. also no reply. and then on day of check out got an email saying check out time was 10am (contrary to 2 booking.com messages which said 11am). they did agree to let us stay on till 11 but no apology. the communication issues would put me off staying again. also would benefit from a couple of basics - like washing up liquid.

"Excellent, would happily return"

9.0

The apartment was spacious and very well looked after, in a great location and with a view of the waves on the North Sea whilst having breakfast ! A great place to come back to after the stresses of a weekend chess tournament. I wasn't particularly familiar with the old town, so close to the road leading along to Marine Drive but a lot more interesting, with quirky shops and of course the castle and Anne Bronte's grave nearby.

1) Could do with Yale lock on the apartment door. 2) The entrance hall felt a bit scruffy and the stair railing could do with a lick of paint, noticeable when compared to the immaculate state of the apartment itself.

"Never again unfortunately."

3.0

The position was very good close to the sea front and with a view

Oh dear, we have stayed at many apartments and houses for weekend away and holidays, I’m sad to say this is the worst place we have stayed at! Given that most of the faults could be rectified quite easily. In the apartment there are many marks on the walls that need touching up and obvious signs that the decor has changed with blu-tack residue and hooks with no pictures. The lounge, kitchen and bathroom have all obviously had investment but the flat is just grimey, the doors are filthy, the sink is badly marked, the toilets are stained the shower screens need bleaching. There is an over use of block air fresheners. The hot water had no pressure. We felt so uncomfortable we didn’t eat or drink at the apartment.

Close To south beach and shops. Surprise sea view. 1st floor so not many steps. Loved the en suite ans big tv. Great facilities.. Would very definitely stay again

Disc parking great but hard to find space, not their fault.
