"It was a dream"

Just spent 2 nights here and it was honestly magical. Spoke with the owners before we arrived to see if there was anything they could do as I was proposing to my partner, and I cannot have asked for anything more perfect. The time and effort they put into laying a red carpet, rose petals, candle lights, heart balloons, and spiral hearts was more than I could have ever imagined. ( PS, she said YES, so thank you both again). Even without these extras though, the lodge itself was beautiful, clean and well equipped, with everything we needed - we even got some complimentary tablet. The bed, pillows and duvet covers were also phenomenal. It was like sleeping on a cloud. We spent most of our time in the outdoor area. Despite the weather being terrible, the sheltered terrace didn’t let that stop us from making full use of the day bed, the hot tub and the pool table. Definitely up there with one of our best getaway destinations ever and cannot wait to go back. Thank you so much to the owners who made our stay go smoothly.
