Our stay here was absolutely magical and far beyond our expectations! The house was incredibly warm, cozy, and welcoming — the perfect place to relax after exploring the city. Its location is excellent, just a short drive from the center of Reykjavik, which made everything extremely convenient. One of the highlights was the stunning garden, surrounded by beautiful pine trees, creating a peaceful and almost fairytale-like atmosphere. We were even lucky enough to see the Northern Lights right from the property, an unforgettable experience we will cherish forever. The house was perfectly equipped and we truly felt that nothing was missing — everything we needed was thoughtfully provided. It felt like a home away from home, but even better. We couldn’t have asked for a more comfortable, well-located, and memorable place to stay. Highly recommended, and we would love to return someday!

The apartment is very spacious and well-equipped. Everything is as described and shown in the photos. A dedicated parking space is available right next to the building.

We were greeted by a cold apartment (our flight was delayed and we arrived in the middle of the night). All the radiators were turned off and some windows were cracked open, and it wasn't until the morning that it became comfortable. The only thing that disappointed us about the entire apartment was the bathroom – it could easily be divided into two rooms and made more cozy.

L'appartement est le rez-de-chaussée d'une maison dans un quartier résidentiel très calme. Avec tout le confort d'une maison, de l'espace, une décoration soignée et moderne. Tout est propre, bien pensé et agencé. La literie est confortable.

Au deuxième jour de notre séjour, alors que nous nous débattions au téléphone avec la compagnie aérienne pour faire changer notre vol retour (en raison d'une grève des contrôleurs aériens Islandais) notre fils, souffrant d'une gastro devait visiblement être trop bruyant car notre hôte semble avoir voulu faire passer le message en mettant une musique style électro, volume à gueuler pendant au moins 20 minutes. Alors oui, message reçu 5/5... Mais j'aurais trouvé ça plus sympa qu'il descende nous dire que nous faisions trop de bruit. Nous savons que nous n'avons pas été les plus discrets mais quand on prend ce genre de location de vacances, c'est justement pour se sentir moins gênés de ''faire du bruit'' comparativement à un hôtel classique. Surtout avec un enfant petit qui ne comprend pas forcément et surtout se sentait mal.

Die Unterkunft liegt im Souterrain, mit eigenem Garten, Grillmöglichkeit (leider wegen des Wetters nicht nutzbar), und viel Platz, Sie ist ruhig, etwas außerhalb von Reykjavik gelegen. In der Küche ist alles benötigte vorhanden, zudem Waschmaschine im großen Bad. Es gibt eine niedliche Sitzecke zudem im Wohnzimmer eine Sitzecke, der Eßbereich ist ebenfalls schön groß.
