St George's Hotel - Llandudno

The property was a stone’s throw from the beach and a couple of minutes walk to the pier, the hotel has beautiful interior.

Found that the lift was too small for the number of guests who require it and that there was only 1 lift. Room was nice however location over facing the staff areas wasn’t very noisy in the early hours when staff are leaving.

Dinner and breakfast were excellent.

Car park, was hit and miss on a first come first served basis.

The room was not the best and limited for space. got the impression this was due to the reduced price via Booking.com Only one hand towel was provided for two people, no face cloth. cleaning staff did not replace spare toilet roll Breakfast was good. But the evening meal was not the best for the price paid. One of the biggest drawback for this hotel is the poor availability of parking due to its location in a pay and display zone and the limited hotel parking spaces

the public areas are a quality that deserves its 4 star rating , service , food and drink etc all excellent, the private bathroom was excellent

unfortunately the bedroom fell well short of that 4 star rating , the carpets was old and heaverly stained , the television you can only get very few of the channels shown on the Tv plus none of the apps like iplayer which the welcome screen hoped you would enjoy watching , the Internet in the bedroom was so low it was unuseable, , the hotel car park is unsupervised and always totally full , I suspect mainly by the staff , , parking on the street is not normally a problem but you do have to pay for that , so a lot to like and a lot to dislike

Breakfast was very good. Location was excellent. Staff are very pleasant and well Mannered.

We had Dinner at the hotel on our last night. It was disappointing. The potion sizes were small for the money it cost. We ordered a dessert which took over 30 minutes to arrive. They offered us a free drink for our long wait. We had lunch there on our first day which we waited 45 mins we were given 10% off our bill. The staff said they were short staffed. I heard other customers being offered 10% off their bills too, not great really.
