Casa dos Avós - Folgosa Douro

The accommodation is big and comfortable for 3 pax. Nice kitchen top where we can gathered before bedtime for glass of port wine. Owners are responsive to messages and provide nice treats during our stay.

Small hiccups when hot water not enough for 3 pax. But still manageable.

A casa fica numa rua estreita - é difícil encontrar lugar para estacionar. Na primeira vez bloqueei a rua e a polícia podia ter sido chamada. Depois disso, ajudou-me um vizinho, que me mostrou o único local próximo onde poderia estacionar o meu carro.

Excellent location overlooking the Douro River. Great facilities and much appreciated supplies. Very good communication with owner. Liked the hot tub and outdoor grill. Others commented on lack of parking, but it wasn’t a problem parking in the village.

The one problem with this property is the constant dampness on the outside terrace - possibly from the irrigation system for plants - the astroturf was very soggy and uncomfortable under foot and we always needed to wear shoes.

Une maison très agréable et très bien équipée. Des hôtes réactifs et qui prévoient plein de petites attentions pour les voyageurs. Tout est fait pour qu'on ne manque de rien et qu'on se sente chez soi.

The house is beautiful and the host is great. There is no parking, so you need to talk to the host about parking arrangements. It is one of the most beautiful houses we've stayed in.

A estadia foi fantástica, tudo na casa é espetacular. A decoração, os materiais, as camas, toda a área exterior e claro, o Jacuzzi é simplesmente genial. Local perfeito para descansar e fazer uma pausa do stress do dia a dia.

De não poder ficar mais dias :-) Se houvesse algo a apontar, seria apenas a falta de um local onde se possa deixar o carro.
