Alkantmooi Private Nature Reserve - Keurkloof & Keurbos 93

We stay here at least twice a year. Always reliable. Everything you need at hand. Feels as though you are miles from anywhere although it’s only 10 mins into the town centre.

They supplied a hairdryer but there was no round plug to use it with. A second dishcloth should come in handy. There was only 1.

Amazing location with superb views and super quiet surroundings. Plenty space and everything you need. The terrace is a great place to have breakfast and/or relax. To get there it's an unpaved road about 5-10 minutes uphill but very doable (also with a small car). Recommended to stay here!

All the staff were so friendly and helpful from start to finish. We were greeted warmly and efficiently. Magdeld went out of her way to help us as we had forgotten some things we needed for our stay. The room was very comfortable and beautifully laid out. The bed was so comfortable. We had breakfast in our room which was brought by two bright ladies, who set everything up and then vanished. Breakfast was great. Magdeld also gave us details of a taxi who looked after us so well, while we visited local attractions.

Be prepared for a steep climb on a track road up to the property, it is almost 1km long and has great views of the valley, but this also means it is a long drop. It is well maintained but was a surprise. For this reason, we used a taxi to visit the local Wine Estates.

Great 2 bedroom (both en-suite) with a kitchen, lounge and dining area. Lovely verandah and communal rim- flow pool. Located a few kilometers above Keurbooms.
