GBBed was comfy and the Faith in Nature toiletries were a nice touch. The pub itself was very pleasant and the food was nice enough. Staff were friendly.
Our upstairs room was like an attic room in terms of heat. Even though a fan was provided it was really very uncomfortable. The loo did not want to flush any paper and the bathroom light kept sticking.

We loved our stay. We could hear the people and their 2 pets above us but it’s an older Inn and we didn’t expect sound proof. The room had what we needed, was very clean and fresh, and the bed, pillows and towels soft and cozy. The only minor issue was that the fragrance from the laundry detergent or fabric softener used on the linens, it was quite strong and lingered throughout our stay. A bit less, a lighter or unscented product might make the experience even more comfortable for guests who are sensitive to fragrances. Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our visit and would happily stay again.
GBReally friendly and helpful staff, plenty of free parking, good room for the money and central to Windsor, so it was quick to get to a meeting the other side of town in the morning. The ability to take a drink back to your room from the bar just a minute away was perfect after a long day of travelling. Would definitely stay here again.
Really strong smell of air freshener or similar in my room which wasn't necessary as it was really clean. Meant I didn't get the best night's sleep. I wanted to open the window to the outside first floor access walkway for some fresh air, but it didn't have any opening restrictors in it, which meant that it could have been fully opened whilst I was asleep, allowing someone into the room.
