Rude and impolite manager of the room, although he could clearly see our five year old daughter was not well. Very dirty floor, curtains, blankets and smell of dog pee. Got the feeling that no real was cleaning done at all, only superficially. Also clothes from previous guests had been left and not taken care of. Annoying that you needed so many keys to get in and out. To top it all we lost electricity in the evening in our apartment specifically (rest of the building and neighbour apartment was fine). Upon calling the manager he gave us instructions which is OK initially but after none of the instructions worked and he was informed about this he was no longer reachable during the most critical time and became unresponsive. He responded later in the evening when the kids were already sleeping, the dinner was ruined because the stove was not working and it was too late. My phone died due to the lack of electricity and we could not have a breakfast in the morning. We had no choice but to go away as early as we could in the morning. The owner was not willing to compensate us either which is not surprising considering the behavior we saw during our stay. I would never recommend anyone to stay here ever.

Unbeatable harbour-side location, directly opposite the Aquarium. Functional, quite well equipped modern kitchen. So many locked doorways to pass through to reach the apartment made it feel very secure. Convenient sleeping arrangement as parents with one child sleeping in the separate spare (convertible) bed. Plenty of space for 3 of us.

Very tidy but not especially clean. Having only one set of keys meant extra work to coordinate ourselves. No hooks in the bathroom for hanging towels, clothes etc. Towel/clothes stand was broken. No toilet roll holder (broken).

Great value for money. Good security to accomodation with great facilities.

Curtains were patchy. Could do with some deep cleaning.

It was a comfortable stay, happy I could wash my clothes, since there was a washing machine, super handy if you've been on the road for a while. Location wise was good too...nice restaurants nearby.

A drying rack could've been handy. I like it more if the curtains could close more..

We stayed with young children, and loved that the apartment had a full kitchen, large beds and plenty of space. The children loved looking out the full-length windows at the piazza below. It's a great apartment that's super close to everything we wanted to visit - the aquarium, the children's museum, and other things in the harbour.

I can't think of anything negative to say, it was just lovely.

Confortable and almost quiet room. In the historical part of the city, in front of Genoa aquarium and its old port. Ideal for family with kids. Reasonable price, with a really kind owner. Absolutely value for money.
