Glasgow 2 Bedroom Apartment

Not very much

The fire detector in the sitting area was beeping all night we contacted the person he said he would send someone round to sort it which he never so we left there after 1 sleepless night and had to book a premier inn absolutely disgraceful

Nice apartment clean and useable

The area is rough , obviously can’t be helped but would be nervous if I was a single female or little children

Hosts are not responsive to messages, they failed to give access details until very last minute whilst I was en route despite being chased several times, did not respond to post stay messages re glasses left behind in error. Only one grotty pan in kitchen and extremely limited cooking utensils, overall it was cheap, beyond bargain basement material in a rough area with zero welcome or interest from hosts will never use again overall very very poor service

Nothing. Didn’t even stay there. Travelled from Belfast on a late flight for an event for a friend’s birthday. Rang the owner to ask for check in instructions to be told the apt. was not fit for purpose and we could not stay there. The owner did not sound apologetic, he sounded as though he was in a pub and I could hear him and others laughing at me in the background. We had arrived in Glasgow approx 10pm and were going straight to an event. We do not know Glasgow and had to get a taxi to an area near our event and walk in to hotels to try and find somewhere to stay for the night. Finally when we found a hotel with availability, it was not cheap and we had to pay £1000 for two nights. This apartment gave absolutely no heads up to the cancellation or that we couldn’t stay, the booking was paid in full and confirmed on booking.com, and we had to lose out on a lot of money for what should have been a quick weekend break for a friend’s birthday celebration.

I didn’t even see the property to not like it. But what I did not like was the fact our money was taken and our booking was confirmed. No communication had been made to myself to advise the apartment could not be stayed in. I didn’t like arriving in a new city for a celebratory trip and having no where to go. I didn’t like having to pay an additional £1000 for a hotel on top of what we had already paid for this apartment. I didn’t like how the property owner spoke to me and laughed down the phone. An absolute disgrace and a let down to booking.com as I will now be questioning whether to use the whole site in general now.

There was zero communication from the hosts, leaving me to have to ring them up 2 hours after check-in time to gain entry to the property. We had a check out time of midday the next morning, however the cleaner arrived at 10:50am. I had spent the previous week attempting to contact the hosts with no response. The property was clean, or rather it smelt of bleach... Very little in the way of amenities, the kitchen wasn't really usable, tv's not plugged into anything, no where to eat food, the front door didn't feel secure. If you are looking for a place to survive for the night this place might do you. It has some beds. But if you are looking for someplace nice to stay to explore the city then certainly give this property a miss.

we have contacted the property regarding various issues with the stay, this included the property smelling very strongly of tobacco smoke, fire alarm just wires hanging from ceiling, damage/not secure locks on doors and Bed Bugs in 1 of the beds. the property has yet to reply to multiple messages.
