"Minunat, recomand cazarea aceasta"

10.0

"This property was unsafe, poorly maintained, and the host had an extremely bad attitude — refusing all responsibility an"

1.0

What I liked: 1.I liked how the host welcomed me at first. The replies were quick, the tone was warm, and he even offered to pick me up from the airport — at the laughable price of 300 dirhams. It almost felt like a preview of the absurdity to come: the friendliness was there, but it already carried a sense of opportunism. 2.I liked the sudden transformation when the property itself began to fail. The cover above the heater fell down and almost hit my head; the door handle broke and left me locked out of the room. Instead of acknowledging these as maintenance issues, the host told me it was my fault, as if I had traveled all the way from China only to break his furniture. The replies became slower, the tone less helpful, and eventually silence was the main form of communication. Watching enthusiasm dissolve into blame-shifting was, in its own way, a performance piece. 3.I liked the climax most of all: after I complained that I could not sleep because the lock did not work, I received a thinly veiled threat, and later someone came to knock on my door late at night. With no peephole, no explanation, and no way to know who it was, it felt less like hospitality and more like a horror scene. Out of fear, I did not open, and instead spent the night on a small sofa, unable to rest properly. So, in summary, what I “liked” was witnessing this bizarre journey: from warm but overpriced greetings, to evasions and accusations, and finally to fear and silence. If that is considered hospitality, then I suppose I liked it very much indeed.

The property had serious maintenance and safety issues, combined with extremely poor handling by the host. •First, the magnetic cover above the water heater fell down suddenly and almost hit me. When I reported this, instead of acknowledging a clear maintenance problem, the host insisted it was my own action, which is completely untrue. •Second, the door handle broke and fell off, leaving me unable to access my room. I was locked out for hours, and later forced to spend the night on a small sofa because I could not use the bed I had paid for. This was not only uncomfortable but unacceptable. •When I communicated these problems, the host’s replies slowed down dramatically, and instead of offering help, he repeatedly shifted responsibility onto me. At one point, I even received a vague threat, followed by someone knocking on my door late at night without prior consent or identification. With no peephole or security measures, I felt unsafe and fearful. Another serious issue is the condition of the furnishings. The curtain in the room could not even be pulled properly, and almost every item felt as if it had been glued together — fragile, unstable, and at constant risk of falling apart. This is not only inconvenient but also dangerous, because anything could fall and injure a guest. Yet the host’s position is that whenever something breaks or falls, it must be because the guest “touched it.” I have stayed in many places, and nowhere else have I seen a room where basic items seem to be held together as if with glue. This reflects extremely poor maintenance and an unwillingness to take responsibility. Overall, the host refused to take responsibility, showed no genuine apology, and left me in unsafe conditions. This is not a matter of comfort or personal preference — it is a matter of safety and basic responsibility. I believe this situation requires Booking’s serious attention and corrective action.

"This stay was unsafe and uncomfortable, and the host’s extremely poor attitude — refusing to take any responsibility — m"

1.0

When someone asks me what I enjoyed most during my stay, I could say the city, the food, or the sights. But in fact, what impressed me most was the host himself — because through our interactions, I learned what coldness, pretend politeness, and hypocrisy really mean. During my stay, I experienced two serious safety and maintenance issues: 1.The magnetic cover above the water heater fell down by itself and almost hit my head. I tried to put it back, sent the host a photo, and explained the situation, but it could not stay in place and I was worried it might fall again. Instead of acknowledging this, the host accused me of deliberately removing it. I had to send the photo via WhatsApp because Booking’s chat system does not allow image uploads. Later, the host quoted my own photo back on Booking and claimed it was “proof” that I had taken it off myself, which was not true. After that, he even refused to continue the conversation on WhatsApp. 2.The door handle fell off when the wind closed the door. Because of this, I was locked out of the room for half a day and had no access to the accommodation I paid for. I informed the host, but he did not come to fix it. As a result, I had no choice but to sleep on the sofa in the living area. The sofa was too small and uncomfortable, so I could barely sleep at all that night. What was worse than the maintenance issues was the way the host handled them. He accused me, misrepresented my messages, and even suggested I should not leave a “dishonest review,” which felt like a threat. At one point, he even implied that I flew all the way from China just to break his room and make a claim against him. This accusation is not only absurd but also highly irresponsible. I reported this to Booking, but did not receive any reply regarding the safety issue or compensation. Given that I could not use the room I paid for and was forced to sleep on an uncomfortable sofa instead, I believe I am entitled to a refund for this stay.

What I disliked was the communication and the attitude. The host responded slowly, often evaded responsibility, and never offered a real apology or solution. Instead, he hid behind polite words that felt hollow. At one point, someone even knocked on my door late at night without my consent. With no peephole and no way to know who it was, this felt frightening and unsafe. Overall, the lack of genuine help and the constant blame-shifting were deeply disappointing.
