Sea Vine - Azores Eco Lodging

The property has a truly stunning view — one of the best we’ve seen. The house itself is beautiful, spacious, and tastefully decorated, located in a quiet and peaceful area, perfect for relaxing. We also appreciated the small thoughtful details, such as candles and nicely arranged amenities, which made the place feel cozy and welcoming.

We were on our honeymoon and unfortunately had a terrible experience. The host assured us it was safe to stay during the hurricane, but that was completely false. The windows and doors were so weak we had to hold them shut for hours while wind and rain came inside. It was terrifying and unsafe, and no one from the staff came to help. Two nights later, during another storm, water entered the bedroom again, proving how badly built the house is. Towels were changed only once in six days, no cleaning at all, and we had to take out our own trash. The host even made us bring heavy tables and chairs inside before the hurricane. When we contacted them, they were rude and said any refund would depend on our review — completely unacceptable. We’ve traveled to over 40 countries and never experienced such neglect and lack of care. Absolutely not recommended.
