Excellent location and loved the style. Also really enjoyed the bar/restaurant down stairs, easing service and food.

Room was quite warm and only had a fan for cooling. The fan cooled the room ok when windows and bed room shuttered were open, but meant it was a little noisy at night.

The facilities were fantastic - we only had online booking system so we didn't see any host - had the unpleasant experience of the hotel unhelpful staff in reception. The bar downstairs were wonderful, and really great service. I would recommend this location to anyone - but remember it is independent from the hotel and the staff will not help you in any way.

Unfortunately we were visiting for a funeral and family were dropping us off a vehicle to get to the service. The reception - which is not part of the Perfect Stays would not accept the keys or let our family park the vehicle for us to pick up. We also asked if there were any photocopying services in the area - and we struck a very unpleasant unhelpful staff member of the hotel. Had we known the library was across the road we would have tried them. The hotel is beautiful but the staff who run the hotel side of things were very unhelpful and very unfriendly - I am guessing they do not like the link between the hotel and the Perfect Stays?
