Pearl of Stegna - Beach House

My wife and I had a great stay at Pearl of Stegna for a week. The apartment is well equipped, including food like bread and cheese to make a first meals which is always nice not to have to go to the store right away. The bed is very comfortable, the ACs throughout worked well to cool the house if needed. There are many pleasant places to sit inside and outside. The home has the special touches that make it a perfect place for a beach vacation. The beach, chairs, and umbrella were great for relaxing and swimming. We also enjoyed the patio to watch the sea, relax, and eat meals. We enjoyed the location on Stegna, away from the crowds but still close enough to walk to restaurants and shops. One of the highlights of our stay was meeting Effy and her Mom. They are lovely, welcoming people who go out of their way to make guests feel at home. We would love to stay again.

La localisation, la maison très bien équipée avec la terrasse, la vue et la proximité de la mer à quelques mètres à pied, les levers de soleil, le calme, la communication, les attentions et la relation avec la propriétaire toujours disponible et réactive.

Un angolo di paradiso a 3 passi dal mare. I punti di forza di questa struttura sono la terrazza incantevole e la gentilezza della proprietaria. Abbiamo avuto anche un piccolo problema con il piano ad induzione in cucina che hanno risolto tempestivamente con massima disponibilità. Al nostro arrivo ci hanno fatto trovare acqua, succo di arancia, frutta e ci hanno colpito immediatamente per l estrema gentilezza. Non vediamo l ora di tornare!

Mi è piaciuto tutto. Essendo una casa proprio sulla spiaggia ci sono molte formiche ed è necessario non lasciare nulla fuori dal frigo. Il divano letto va benissimo per un bambino (infatti oer noi è stato fantastico) ma potrebbe essere scomodo per un adulto.

The location is perfect, in front of peaceful part of Stegna beach, with crystal clear warm water. There are privat sunbeds and umbrella on the beach. There is amzing view out of the kitchen window and a hugh terrace with all day shadow. The apartment is spacious. The host is very kind and prompt in comunication. If you are looking for a peaceful holidays, this is the place to be.

Sehr unkomplizierte, rasche und aufmerksame Kommunikation mit der Vermieterin. Toll gelengenes Haus an der ruhigen Sand/Kiesstranseite von Stegna beach. Ideal für Familien (auch mir Kleinkindern); Eigene Liegen mit Sonnenschirm am Strand. sehr liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus. Der Blick von der Terrasse zu jeder Zeit ein Traum. Einfach nur herrlich! Küche mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünschen kann. Jeder Raum eine Klimaanlage. Sauberes kleines Bad. Es hat alles gepasst. Ein idealer Urlaub!! Wer überlegt nach Stegna zu gehen und sich auch nach Ruhe sehnt: dieses Haus ist eindeutig zu empfehlen!

We met lovely Effie at the property who kindly showed us around. Having visited various beaches whilst in Rhodes, we jointly agreed that ´our´ beach by the house was the best. It was very quiet, we had two private loungers and umbrella. Thanks to the location, we were the last people leaving the beach. All favourite locations with quick and easy access with a car (Lindos, Tsambika Monastir, Kallithea Springs). Easy and free parking right outside the house. We had initially planned staying in Lindos but now we are happy we did not. This place is very charming and relaxing, almost tourist free with the locals enjoying an evening swim. There is a hidden Stegna gem near by...keep walking to the right end of the beach :-) We had the chance enjoying the red moon (first time ever) and beautiful sun rises with coffee right from the terrace. Fully equipped kitchen very useful - we cooked fresh fish and sea food during the entire stay. The morning swim before enjoying breakfast and coffee on a private terrace is A MUST - sea water is crystal clear. We recommend visitors buying a single use barbecue and preparing a meal right on the beach. We would definitely return here! I don´t say this very often and my man can swear on this but...I loved everything!

Location and Effie, the owner, make this property a true gem. The clean and spacious little house is perfectly located and it’s really equipped, Effie checked in with us several times during our delightful stay just to make sure that we had everything we needed - we did. Compared to the scene in Lindos, the Pearl of Stegna is an excellent oasis of quiet. Stegna’s restaurants and shops are a short distance away, Taverna Maria is outstanding and incredibly cheap.

That we only had three days there

Everything was perfect, a lovely breakfast was left for our first morning, and a local bakeries bread to take home. The host Effy made sure we had all we needed. Balcony was perfect for shade when too hot and for early morning sunrise, very peaceful area.

Where do we start? Effie, the host, is such an amazing and lovely person and she greeted us at the beach house at 10pm after our flight was delayed. Once we had introduced eachother she handed over the keys and insisted that we treat it as our own. The beach house is well looked after and has a really nice finish. It is air conditioned and very clean. It is a small walk away from the main stretch of Stegna which provides many shops and tavernas to eat and drink at. Right infront of the property is a sand and pebble beach and we were allowed to use the beds and parasol provided by the host. We sat almost every night watching the moon rise from the seats on the front porch and was overall a beautiful experience. We would not hesitate to come back to the pearl of stegna!
